Open to the public from Wednesday to Saturday (10am to 4.30pm) and Sunday (11am to 4.30pm), Adgestone Vineyard is the oldest continuously operating vineyard in the UK and the UK’s only producer of a vibrant blue sparkling wine: “Something Blue”, what every bride wants!
During your visit to Adgestone Vineyard you can take an audio tour of the Vineyard and the subterranean cellars, you can do a wine tasting lesson where you will sample the array of wines produced in the winery, or you can combine the two for the “Full Vineyard Experience”. Sit back and relax in the beautiful outdoors at Adgestone Vineyard’s alfresco bistro with vineyard and sea views. The Vineyard’s menu offers a delicious selection of cold meat and cheese platters, mezze boards, nachos and seafood, all of which have been selected to accompany the wine.
You can enjoy live music every weekend (June to September) from 1-3pm; and in the Summer months on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday as well. Finally, don’t forget to browse the farm shop, which in addition to having the full range of Adgestone Vineyard wines and liqueurs, stocks a selection of local produce including Mermaid Gin, Wild Island dressings, locally made honey, Wight Salt and Adgestone Vineyard’s own Arson Fire chilli condiments and clothing range.
