The Griffin

The Griffin is a splendid stone built village pub that was originally a 17th century coaching inn. Although principally a family pub with an emphasis on food, it has a cosy area with a bar to prop up. Keep an eye peeled for the annual ‘sausage and cider festival’. There is a large children’s play area with bouncy castle, football area with goals and a maze. With a regular pub quiz and a popular Sunday carvery, it is also considered the Island’s premier pub for cider with up to six available.
