What is Beaujolais Nouveau Day?
Beaujolais Nouveau Day is celebrated in France on the third Thursday of November with a bang – literally! There are fireworks, music, and festivals. According to French law, the wine is released at 12:01am, just a few weeks after the grapes have been harvested. People throw parties all over the country and further afield to toast the arrival of the season’s first wine.
