Ingredients

  • 500 g white chocolate broken into bits
  • food colouring gels
  • 2 tsp hundreds and thousands
  • 2 tbsp popping candy
  • why not add edible glitter, mini marshmallows, jelly sweets, Smarties etc.

Instructions

  • Put your ingredients into separate bowls. Heat the chocolate in a microwave-safe bowl in 20-sec bursts until melted, stirring each time.
  • Pour the melted chocolate into several small bowls and stir in your choice of food colouring gel into each bowl.
  • Line a large tray with parchment paper and spoon the different coloured chocolate onto the parchment in puddles, they should start to join up and become one large puddle.
  • Use a skewer and swirl all the colours together. Be careful not to swirl too much, otherwise they will all mix into one colour. Gently shake the tray from side to side to help the chocolate sit in an even layer and fill any gaps.
  • Now add your sprinkles and popping candy (and anything else you fancy). Leave the chocolate to set in the fridge until hard.
  • Break the chocolate into pieces and wrap in parchment paper – put in boxes for pretty presents.
